The beginning

I started doing drugs in the fifth grade. I was smoking weed and drinking a little. It got bad when I met a boy my senior year and started dating him. He was a recovering Heroin addict and alcoholic. We went to church together, and hung out with other LDS couples. One week I decided to go on a cruise with my cousins, while I was gone my boyfriend was arrested. I had no idea he was stealing and doing drugs behind my back. I was so hurt and shocked! I lied to him to get him to try to straighten out. Instead of just leaving him I moved out of my parents house and into another with friends. I worked at a salon at the time so I told my family I was moving closer to the salon.
A few weeks after moving in my boyfriend moved in with me. He was doing drugs and with my past history I was curious. I started smoking heroin and cocaine. This was the beginning of my long addiction. I lost 2 jobs and the trust of my family. This went on for several months until we were arrested. It was then we decided we needed to change our lives. My parents sent me to a far away rehab where I spent 28 days.
I did great until I got out. I started drinking again, and met up with a friend who had the 'good stuff'. I only smoked it once. I realized this time I was sick of being a slave! I wanted my freedom, so I stopped and never returned.

Welcome to my blog. This is a blog about my life as a Heroine and Cocaine addict and alcoholic. I have been through rehab and been through a recovery process.
